Get to Know Dr. Jason Berk, Diamond Braces Orthodontist!

Dr. Jason Berk comes from Melville, New York. He did his dental school at SUNY Buffalo and his residency at SUNY Melville.

Dr. Berk’s journey to orthodontics began…on his bike! Or rather, on the ground after he fell off his bike as a child, which damaged his teeth. He had amazing care from his pediatric dentist and his orthodontist, and they inspired him to pursue his own career as an orthodontist. Luckily, he hasn’t had any bad bike accidents since then – make sure to wear your helmet, Dr. Berk!

When he’s not fixing his patients’ teeth, he likes to spend time with his wife and son. You can find them catching a sports game at home, rooting for the Giants and the Mets!

Dr. Berk notes that there are many health benefits of braces. Straight teeth make it easier to floss, and keep your teeth clean generally. It’s best to get your teeth straightened to avoid more systemic issues down the line.

Thanks for the tips, Dr. Berk – we’re glad to have you on the Diamond Braces team!
